Meet Frances Vasquez

Frances is a passionate, innovative leader who believes in helping others reach their dreams.  She has been coaching and developing managers and directors for the past fifteen years.  She has spent her 20-year career advocating for young people and the youth workers who serve them.

Frances served as Vice President of Programs for arc, where she oversaw 90 programs in Southern California and 600 staff.  She developed a training program that engaged and developed staff to provide top-tier service to students and grow the next generation of leaders.  She led the effort to launch the expansion of 60 new programs in Southern California.  

Frances has also led initiatives to expand out-of-school time services in elementary, middle, and high school programs.  She developed curriculum, trained staff, mentored and coached the operations management team, and oversaw the logistics for implementing sites in Southern CA.  

Frances has served in both programmatic and executive management roles during her career. Frances has a keen understanding of the challenges faced by those on the front lines and in management. This experience makes her uniquely qualified to provide mentorship and solutions to address some of the many challenges in providing quality out-of-school time programs. She shared this expertise by providing over 400 hours of training, mentorship, and coaching. Frances’ passion for educating and empowering youth is evident in her training.  She teaches and inspires youth workers and paraprofessionals by encouraging and motivating them to be the best for the students they serve. 

Frances received a B.A. from Vanguard University of Southern California in Religion with an emphasis in Leadership and Ministry.  Frances is also an alum of Cal-SAC’s Leadership Development Institute. Frances enjoys being outdoors hiking or at the beach.
